What Former Patients Say
What your participation in this event could mean for a patient in need…
“I want to express my deepest gratitude to Operation Walk Pittsburgh for completely changing my life. Before my knee surgery, I had almost no mobility, every step was a challenge, and movement felt impossible. Today, thanks to this incredible program, I have the chance to have a new life full of motion, freedom, and hope. To the amazing team of doctors, nurses, translators, and physical therapists, thank you for your dedication, compassion, and professionalism. You not only healed my knee, but also restored by confidence and joy. I will always carry infinite gratitude in my heart for each of you. You’ve given me more than treatment... you’ve given me back my life.”
“My surgery changed my life and my family’s! I can finally get back to living pain-free. Thank you for bringing relief and improving the lives of so many!”
“It wasn’t just the operation, it was the experience. It was the team’s attachment to us and we were able to experience beautiful human nature.”
“Because of my hips I could not work which was difficult because I had to support my family. My first child 16, the second 13 and the third, 10. I’ll hug them and tell them that I never doubted God. Since the beginning they have treated me well. The doctors who treated me were excellent because they treated me kindly when in my past there were doctors who did not. I’m so grateful for what they did for me.”
