2026 Dental Clinic

ANTIGUA, GUATEMALA

September 26 - October 3, 2025

Last year marked a turning point for our free dental clinic. In its fourth year, the clinic—organized by Dr. Michael Guthrie— delivered record-breaking dental care, welcoming two new dentists to the team and reaching more patients than ever before.

Under the leadership of Dr. Guthrie, alongside Dr. Katherine Grosso and Dr. James Grosso, 73 patients received free dental care, including 36 cleanings, 4 scaling and root planing procedures, 77 fillings, 9 root canals, 45 extractions, and 2 distal wedge surgeries. Each procedure represented more than treatment—it restored comfort, confidence, and dignity.

As we look ahead to the 5th year of the clinic, our goal is simple but ambitious: to expand access, grow our dental team, and serve even more patients in need. With additional volunteers, partners, and donors, we can continue building on this success and ensure that every patient leaves with a healthier smile—and renewed hope.

In partnership with Valley Periodontics and Wexford Family Dentistry, we’re launching a fundraising campaign to support the purchase of critically needed dental supplies and medications that will be used during the clinic. All donations will directly support patient care and are tex-deductible. Our fundraising goal is $10,000, which will cover dental care for 80 patients. Below, you’ll see a few ways your donation can make a difference and give a needy patient a reason to smile.
