10 Years of Impact

Over the last decade, the Operation Walk Pittsburgh team has completed missions in countries across Central America, including Cuba, Guatemala, Honduras, and Panama.

While each mission and location has brought unique triumphs and challenges, there is just something special about Antigua.

Building Bridges

For many travel team veterans, this pastel-colored colonial style city has become a familiar and beloved community to return to each year. The relationships built with our patients, partners, and the wider community have made Antigua feel like nuestro hogar (our home)

Obras Sociales del Santo Hermano Pedro, our hospital partner in Antigua, has guided and supported our efforts along the way. We are honored to be able to continue working alongside their team.

For the 10th mission, it seemed only fitting to come back to where it all started.

After months of diligent planning, organizing, packing, coordinating, and a little hair pulling by Program Director, Nick Langston, by late September everything for #Antigua2019 was ready.
